Hi, I'm Rebecca. I am a digital/traditional illustrator living in California: North/Central area and am interested in learning all I need to know to be a children’s book illustrator.

I’ve loved to draw since I was a little girl of six. Of course I’ve improved a lot since then! I’m always learning new methods to drawing both traditionally and digitally; predominately digitally though since I'm more comfortable with that medium. I strive to be a useful illustrator to the wonderfully creative authors of children’s books.

I'm a 2015 graduate of Modesto Junior College with an AA degree in Art. I love how children's book art can be whimsical, serious, thoughtful, and heartwarming which in turn draws you into the story. I plan to illustrate and write my own stories. (easier said than done I'm discovering!) But I'm also open to collaborating with others KidLit stories, if I like the story (and you like my art!) and feel I can bring the right emotions to your story that you are looking for. :)

Favourite photographer: I have many, some here on DA and on Tumblr. I like people, animal, landscape and still life photos.
